"I Know How It Feels...," Zomato Chat Support's 'Pookie' Response On Complaint Wins Hearts

Waiting for a hot cup of chai in the morning is as exciting as savouring that first comforting sip. For many tea enthusiasts, the day simply cannot begin without it. With the convenience of online food delivery in many Indian cities, ordering tea in the morning has become a popular habit. However, even a minor disruption, especially with your cherished chai order can spoil the mood. In a recent post, YouTuber Ishan Sharma shared how Zomato's "pookie chat support" came to the rescue of a customer who faced an issue with his chai order. For the unversed, "pookie" is a trending word to refer to any person, thing or moment as cute.

Sharma posted a screenshot of an online chat with a Zomato support executive. In the screenshot, a customer named Saransh complained about missing jaggery in his chai order. The customer wrote, "I can't have this chai now. What to do?"

The support staff promptly responded and suggested, "Sir..! I request you to have the chai..! I can initiate the refund for the jaggery."
