Tomato sauce is a staple ingredient in every kitchen. Many of us use it in dishes such as curries, salsa, pastas, and more. However, have you ever heard of someone drinking a whole litre of tomato sauce? It might sound unusual, but Andre Ortolf from Germany not only consumed one litre of tomato sauce but also set a world record by doing so in the shortest amount of time. He has earned his place in the Guinness World Records by drinking one litre of tomato sauce in just 55.21 seconds. To mark his significant achievement, Guinness World Records has uploaded a video featuring his victory on their Instagram handle.

In the video, Andre Ortolf is seen standing behind a wooden table with a clear jug full of tomato sauce placed on top. Using a straw, he rapidly drinks the entire sauce in a matter of seconds. Immediately after finishing, he raises both hands and playfully sticks out his tongue to signify his accomplishment. The caption of the video reads, "Fastest time to drink one litre of tomato sauce: 55.21 seconds by Andre Ortolf." You can watch the full video here:
If you think this is the only world record set by Andre Ortolf, let us correct you. Speaking to GWR, Andre said, "I decided to break records because I need a challenge in my life. I like to overcome boundaries and train to go further and further and further."
