Viral Video: Sikkim Sisters Selling Tibetan Food In Chandigarh Has Internet's Attention

When you think of Chandigarh street food, your mind automatically envisions chole bhature, naan, momos, and pani puri, right? But have you ever stumbled upon the delectable delight of "phaley" in Chandigarh? What's phaley, you ask? Well, it is a Tibetan food, a deep-fried wonder stuffed with minced meat or veggies. In a culinary adventure, four sisters hailing from Sikkim, now living in Chandigarh, decided to introduce their homeland's flavours to this union territory. A video of these spirited siblings is taking Instagram by storm. The foodie community is showing support by posting positive reactions in the comment section.

In the video, one of the four sisters can be seen expertly deep-frying cheese and paneer phaley. Once they are perfectly golden, she serves them up on a paper plate, alongside some chutneys. In the clip, she also shares, "Actually hum log Sikkim se hai, to hum bahut proud feel karte hai Sikkim ko leke [Actually we are from Sikkim and we feel extremely proud about that]."
