Priyanka Gandhi visited a restaurant in Mysuru and tried her hand at making dosas. She also interacted with the restaurant's staff, the owner and their family. She shared a video of her restaurant visit in a post on her Twitter handle. "Enjoyed making dosas with the legendary Mylari Hotel owners this morning. What a shining example of honesty, hard work, and enterprise. Thank you for your gracious hospitality. The dosas were delicious too. Priyanka Gandhi visited the famous Mylari Hotel, which is one of the oldest restaurants in Mysuru serving authentic South Indian food. In the video, she can be seen entering the restaurant and going to the back of the kitchen. She then fills up a small round bowl with dosa batter from a large container and spreads it in circles on a flat cooktop heated with a burning coal fire. A total of six dosas were cooked simultaneously. Then, she flipped the dosas with a spatula to cook them from both sides.
Priyanka Gandhi even shared some pictures on her Instagram page in which she can be seen seated at a table in the restaurant and having her meal in the traditional way. Yes, on a banana leaf!
