"Tere Pyaar Mein": Shraddha Kapoor Declares Her Love For Pani Puri In A Video

Shraddha Kapoor and classic Indian food is an endless love story. The actress has given us enough evidence to prove that she is head over heels in love with food. And, when we say food, it means everything from traditional Maharashtrian delights to a delectable thali, a crispy dosa served with sambhar, and a lot more. Now, Shraddha has confessed her love for a popular street food. Many call it puchka, pani puri while others refer to it as golgappa. Available at every nook and corner in India, pani puri is one of the most popular street foods in the country. We don't doubt Shraddha as the very thought of pani puri leave all of us slurping.

Shraddha Kapoor shared a video of herself in which she is seen preparing pani puri and relishing it right away. She lightly taps the puri from the top to create a small hole, making space for the matar (peas) filling. Next, Shraddha dips it into a bowl of the spicy water and gobbles it down. All this while, she was also humming the lyrics of the song, Tere Pyaar Mein from her upcoming film, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor.

“Aap log kiske pyaar mein Bheege Bheege Bheege? Comments mein batao aur apni apni reels banao (In whose love have you been drenched. Let me know in the comments and make your reels as well),” Shraddha Kapoor captioned the post.

We are definitely relating with Shraddha Kapoor's love for pani puri. While the love for pani puri sold on the streets is pretty obvious, we promise you will never hit those street-side stalls again once you make this recipe at home. Fresh, flavourful and right in the comfort of your home, what else could you ask for?

The puri, which could be made with either aata or suji, is filled with stuffing of boiled and mashed potatoes, many even prefer a spicy mix of chickpeas, along with sweet and spicy chutneys for a tongue-tickling experience. The spicy pani puri water is prepared using coriander and mint leaves along with sonth chutney and green chilies. A range of spices bind the flavourful mix together. Try it now.
