Once charred, remove the corn kernels and put them in a bowl. Now add chopped veggies – tomatoes, capsicum, bell peppers, coriander, and some spices – cumin powder, paprika or red chilli powder, salt – and top it up with some lemon juice. Mix all the ingredients well and keep it aside.

To prepare the mint yoghurt dressing, take some yoghurt in a bowl and add mint chutney, and lemon juice to it. Mix well and keep it aside. For the bean filling, take two cups of boiled rajma. Now add finely chopped onions, garlic, paprika or red chilli powder, Mexican seasoning, salt and soy sauce. Make sure to mash it well and make tiny balls out of it. Take a leftover roti or a tortilla wrap and spread your bean filling out of it. In a pan, spread some oil and let it heat. Put the prepared bean-filled bread on the pan and cook for 7-8 minutes on each side. Put some grated cheese over it and let it melt. World Chocolate Day: A Beginner's Guide To Buying And Savouring Dark Chocolate

Happy World Chocolate Day! This day is for all chocolate lovers to celebrate their favourite sweet treat. Now you might have grown up eating milk chocolates that are sweet and velvety in texture. However, we have an idea on how to expand your understanding of the world of chocolate - by trying dark chocolates. Unlike white or milk chocolates, dark chocolates are bitter, have little to no milk solids, and have a high percentage of cocoa. Buying quality dark chocolate is a skill, and savouring it is an art. Are you willing to master it all? Fret not, we are here to help you every step of the way with this ultimate guide to buying and savouring dark chocolate. Well then, read on and enjoy!

5 Pro Tips For Buying The Best Dark Chocolate:

1. Mind The Sugar

Some dark chocolate brands add too much sugar to their product to make it more palatable. However, maybe you should go back to milk chocolates if you want to eat sugary dark chocolates. Check the list of ingredients and choose the products where sugar is mentioned towards the end, not in the beginning (signifying possibly too much sugar).

2. Less Is More

Of course, as a beginner, you might be attracted to the chocolate with the best packaging. However, we really want you to focus on the ingredients and flavours. Make sure the dark chocolate you choose has little to no artificial ingredients. The shorter the ingredients list, the better may be the quality of your dark chocolate.

3. Focus On The Flavour

You can opt for plain dark chocolate or also choose one with a flavour of your liking, such as vanilla, orange extract, fruits, roasted nuts, etc. The idea is to enjoy eating dark chocolate so choose one you would actually like to eat.

4. 'Right' Words To Look Out In The Label

If a dark chocolate's label has terms like "organic," "fair trade," and "single-origin", it is likely to be a good quality chocolate. Organic dark chocolate is made from cocoa beans that are grown without the use of synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. Fair trade chocolate ensures that cocoa farmers receive fair wages for their labour. Single-origin means that the cocoa beans used for making this dark chocolate are sourced from a specific region, resulting in chocolate with a unique flavour profile.

5. Choose The Intensity

As a beginner, do not buy dark chocolate with 90 per cent cocoa. You will not like it. Instead, start with something that has a 50-60% range of cocoa percentage. Once you become a pro, you can gradually buy other dark chocolates with a higher cocoa percentage.

5 Pro Tips For Savouring Dark Chocolate

Once you master the art of tasting dark chocolate, you may never go back to those sweet milky chocolates. Dark chocolates are rich and have an intense flavour. Now that you know how to buy the right kind of dark chocolate, let's move on to learn how to best eat it so that you can appreciate it to the fullest.

1. Take A Good Look At Your Chocolate

Eating dark chocolate well is an experience. So, we do not want you to be distracted by your phone or the TV. Sit comfortably, remove the packaging and take a good look at the colour and texture of your bitter-sweet treat.

2. Smell The Chocolate

Just like wine tasting, we encourage you to first smell the chocolate before you taste it. Hold the bar of chocolate close to your nose and take a deep breath. Focus on the scents and different flavour notes that you may be able to detect.

3. Taste The Chocolate

Dark chocolate is meant to be enjoyed in little pieces. Do not take a big bite. Break off a little piece and put it on your tongue. Let it melt and unleash all the intense and rich flavours the chocolate has to offer. Slowly chew the rest, focusing on all kinds of notes and textures you experience.

4. Pair It With Other Foods

You can also savour a dark chocolate by pairing it with fruits such as strawberries or oranges, or with a glass of your favourite wine. The complimenting food or drink will bring out new flavours of the dark chocolate for a remarkable experience.

5. Make Note Of The Finish

The finish refers to the aftertaste of the dark chocolate once you are done eating it. Did you like it? What kind of flavours are still lingering on your tongue? Was the finish smooth and pleasant? Observe and it will help you evaluate your experience and if you would like to take another bite or not. Happy tasting!

Want Lustrous Hair? Nutritionist Reveals 3 Seeds To Incorporate Into Your Diet

Is your hair looking dry and frizzy? Does your hair lack that natural shine and volume? If so, fret not, you've come to the right place. We understand that external factors like pollution or the use of hair colour and chemicals can damage your hair. However, what we often do not pay attention to is our everyday diet. As important as it is to protect your hair from external factors, you must provide internal nourishment as well. Recently, nutritionist Deepshika Jain took to her official Instagram handle to share some wonder seeds that can transform the quality of your hair. Intrigued to know what these seeds are? Take a look:
Also Read: Bye-Bye Grey Hair: 5 Foods To Eat and Avoid For Fabulous Hair Health

Here Are 3 Seeds You Can Consume For Healthy Hair, As Per The Nutritionist:

Nutritionist Deepshika Jain suggested three seeds to incorporate into your diet if you want healthy and luscious hair.

1. Flax Seeds

Flax seeds have emerged as a superfood in recent times. And why not? They have some incredible benefits to offer for our health. It comes as no surprise that these tiny black seeds can also be beneficial for hair health. Flaxseeds are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin E, and biotin - all great for our hair. Jain explains that omega-3 helps combat hair issues like flakiness and dryness and nourishes the scalp. The other two vitamins aid in strengthening the hair follicles, giving it that extra shine. She suggests using ground raw flax seeds and incorporating them into yoghurt, fruit bowls, etc.

2. Fenugreek Seeds

The nutritionist also recommends adding fenugreek seeds to your diet. Also known as methi seeds, they are rich in iron, folic acid, and protein. She states that iron and folic acid help improve the oxygen supply to the hair scalp, hence combating hair fall and hair thinning. Whereas, protein will make your hair stronger and healthier. Wondering what is the best way to eat these seeds? Jain suggests sprouting them for more protein production. After sprouting, you can also make its powder and add it to your meals.

3. Hemp Seeds

Hemp seeds are also known to be highly nutritious. They are a great source of plant-based protein, making them great for our health. As we all know, protein is one of the most essential nutrients required to keep our hair healthy, and hemp seeds have it in abundance. Additionally, hemp seeds are also rich in omega-3, making them even better for your hair. The nutritionist recommends soaking hemp seeds before consuming them to reap their benefits for hair health.

What Are The Worst Foods For Hair Health?

Now that you know about the best seeds for your hair, you must be wondering what foods you should avoid. Here are some that you should steer clear of:

1. Deep-Fried Food

Deep-fried food is probably the worst thing we can consume. Not only do they cause high cholesterol, but can also be harmful to our hair. The reason for this is their high oil content. When we consume greasy foods such as pakodas, samosa, French fries, etc., they can make our scalp greasy. A greasy scalp leads to the clogging of pores, thus causing hair problems.

2. Sugary Foods

You must exclude all types of sugary foods from your diet. These include chocolates, gulab jamun, cakes, ice cream, and all things sweet that your heart desires. Sugary foods can cause inflammation and damage our hair follicles - something we want to avoid. If you wish to have luscious hair, you'll have to keep your sugar intake to a minimum.

3. Refined Flour

Refined flour (maida) can also be detrimental to our hair health. This is because refined flour has a high glycaemic index, causing a spike in insulin levels. When we have high insulin levels, we are more prone to issues like hair loss. To avoid this, swap foods that have refined flour as an ingredient with healthier alternatives like whole wheat flour (atta).

Incorporate these seeds into your diet and achieve the healthy and luscious hair you've always desired.

Level Up Your Tea Time Snacking With Healthy Rice Flour Mathri

However, traditional mathris are made with maida (all-purpose flour) which can be quite unhealthy in the long run. But we have the perfect recipe (read: solution) for you. Is Rice Flour Mathri Healthy?

Absolutely! Rice flour mathris are a healthier option than regular mathris because of their ingredients. Rice flour is made from gluten-free grain so it can be a great option for those suffering from gluten intolerance and Celiac disease. Plus, rice flour is high in fibre so it can keep your digestive system healthy. Moreover, this mathri recipe also has moong and chana dal so it's high in protein. The best part about this rice flour mathri is that it's baked and requires only the needful amount of oil, so it'll help you stay full but prevent you from gaining those extra kilos.

How Is Rice Flour Mathri Different From Regular Mathri?

1. Texture

Typically, mathris are made with all-purpose flour (maida) and wheat flour which gives them a dense taste and texture. However, mathris made with rice flour have a lighter and crispier texture. They are less dense and thinner than the maida and wheat mathris.

2. Flavour

Since regular mathris use lots of ghee and oil, they have a rich and a little bit of nutty flavour due to the presence of wheat in them. As opposed, rice flour mathris gives a subtle, slightly sweet flavour which makes the mathris taste lighter. Moreover, rice flour mathris absorb spices much better so they are more flavourful.

3. Digestibility

Wheat-based mathris have gluten in them and can be heavier and more difficult to digest, especially for people with gluten intolerance. But, mathris made with rice flour is generally easier to digest since it is gluten-free, making it a perfect option for people with gluten sensitivity.

Forgot to chill your wine before a dinner party? No problem! Fill a large bucket with ice, water, and a handful of salt. Submerge the wine bottle in this icy bath. As much as we all love cookies, it can be pretty annoying when they harden up. To keep your cookies soft and chewy, place a slice of bread in the cookie jar. Separating egg yolks from whites can be tricky and messy. A simple solution is to use a plastic water bottle. Indian Cricket Team Welcomed In Delhi With Special Breakfast, Trophy Cake

The Indian Cricket Team, 2024 T20's World Cup Champions, are finally home. Led by captain Rohit Sharma, the team defeated South Africa by 7 runs in the nail-biting final. This marked India's second T20 World Cup title, with their previous win coming in 2007 in South Africa. The Men In Blue, on Thursday, checked into the 5-star hotel ITC Maurya in Chanakyapuri, Delhi. The hotel has pulled out all the stops to make them feel at home, with a delicious spread featuring their favourite breakfast dishes and a stunning cake designed in the colours of the Team India jersey, complete with a chocolate T20 trophy on top.

Chef Shivneet Pahoja of  ITC Maurya, told news agency ANI that “the cake is in the colour of the Team's jersey.”

He added, “Its highlight is this trophy, it may look like an actual trophy but this is made out of chocolate. This is our welcome to the winning team. We have arranged the breakfast in the special venue and we will offer them a special breakfast.”

Chef Pahoja revealed that the breakfast spread will have the best of Indian cuisine, catering to the team's cravings after their long tour, including the players' favourites like chole bhature and healthy options made with millets. Do we need to say how much Virat Kohli loves chole bhature? Can there be a better welcome? We think not.

Chef Pahoja said that the cake was conceptualised the day the team won the coveted trophy for India, and the cooking team "spent the whole night" preparing the three-tier cake. "Chefs, pastry chefs, and all the chefs were working all night, and the cake was ready by 5-5:30 in the morning," he said.

The chef also mentioned that there were some complimentary treats in the players' hotel rooms as well, acknowledging their hard work. "We have included some very nice chocolates, as they may not have had chocolates for a long time and might want a little treat for themselves," Chef Pahoja was quoted as saying.
