Sling Bag With Parle-G Packet, Interesting? Watch This 'Quirky' DIY Video

That one sip of a steaming cup of tea fills our hearts with warmth on a cold winter morning. For Indians, the hot drink is incomplete without dipping Parle-G biscuits into the beverage and taking a yummy bite of the cookie. But for “DIY Chachi” Shweta Mahadik, Parle-G biscuits are an accessory, more than a food. Before you jump to conclusions, we must tell you that content creator Shweta is a DIY specialist. In her latest creation, she produced an off-beat sling bag with a Parle-G packet. “I love quirky stuff!!” Shweta Mahadik writes on Instagram, as she goes on to show how to make a customised Parle-G sling bag. Her advice? “Eat the biscuit and create quirky fashion”.

The first method captures her emptying the biscuit packet and dividing it into two with scissors. Next, the creative Chachi takes two transparent plastic sheets, outlining the borders with black ink. The cut-out Parle-G packet is then placed between the two sheets. With an expertise that deserves applause, the woman sews both the sheet layers along the inked borders with a machine. In the final step, the DIY pundit attaches a red cloth to the borders of the Parle-G plastic sheets, fixes a chain, and voila! The Parle-G sling bag is ready to use.

Another rightfully pointed out Shweta Mahadik's sustainable creation. “Love it! Such a cool idea of recycling,” they said.

“Perfect example of G- Mane Genius,” read a comment.

Giving her ideas for a Parle-G TVC, one individual wrote, “Parle g Can consider this for their Advertisement Campaign”.

The bag seemed like a must-buy to a user who said, “If I get this in a store I would have gotten it”.
